Vision Plan
We are pleased to share the vision plan for Red’s Farm Preserve. This plan is a combination of the previous preliminary concepts. Data from the concept feedback survey and second public meeting on February 4th informed us how the two plans would be synthesized and what new elements to include.
After reviewing the plan and exhibits below, please complete the survey. In this survey, you’ll be able to tell us your priorities for elements shown in the vision plan. Every element in the vision plan is meant to align with the guiding principles. If you don’t think they do please feel free to say so in the survey.
Survey Closes May 20th

Ecological Stewardship
All physical improvements should protect and sustain natural habitats whenever possible. When disturbances are unavoidable, the restoration of ecological function and enhancement of biodiversity should be prioritized.
Community Centered Design
Ensure that park improvements support community well-being by creating welcoming, flexible spaces for learning, gathering, and community resilience.
Advance regenerative practices
Ensure that the Preserve continues to support regenerative gardening and farming with facilities that promote active practice, hands-on learning, and demonstration.
Equitable Access and Use Design improvements to expand access to the Preserve’s unique opportunities—gardening, learning, and gathering—so these activities are inclusive of people with diverse abilities, ages, and backgrounds.
